Summer in Ottawa is great for outdoor photography. We seem to have endless supply of twilight well into the evening which lends itself well to long-exposure photography. 

One of the landmarks in the area is the Canadian Museum of History - housed in a beautiful building right along the Ottawa River, shown here.
