Shipping policy

This document was last updated on October 7, 2020 and applies to all items that have not yet been shipped. For the purpose of this document, all prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars. ($CDN)

Shipping policy

All in-stock item orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

You will receive another notification when your order has shipped with tracking (if available) and delivery information.

In the event that an item is on backorder, it will be shipped separately from the rest of your order as soon as it becomes available using the Express Post option within Canada, or International Priority Mail outside of Canada at no additional shipping costs to you. For international orders (delivery outside of Canada), 

For Custom Prints and other custom orders, we will do our best to have them prepared within 5 business days and will inform you of any production delays. 

The billing/delivery address you specify at checkout will be the address the package is delivered to unless using Local Pickup and Delivery or additional special arrangements are made.

Because of the ongoing pandemic, there will be delivery delays that are unfortunately beyond our control. We recommend that if your are making a gift purchase that you allow 4 weeks from when you place your order to when the item will be delivered.

**Canada Post has stated that for safety reasons, delivery within Canada will be attempted -once- only and then the item will be left for pickup at the nearest depot location.

PLEASE NOTE: Courier Services and Xpress Post may use a third party for the final delivery stage, and in most cases are unable to deliver to a Post Office Box or addresses along Rural Routes. Rural Customers may not be able to receive delivery within the guaranteed times. Also keep in mind that for Community Mailbox users, larger parcels will usually have to be picked up at the nearest Postal Depot.

 

We offer the following Shipping options:

Local Pickup - FREE

All local pickup orders must be prepaid using electronic payments (Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Interac e-transfer). Please provide your preferred contact information at the time of order. I will contact you within 1 to 2 business days to make the arrangements.

Local Deliveries (Within 20 km of Downtown Ottawa, Ontario Canada) – FREE

All local delivery orders must be prepaid using electronic payments (Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Interac e-transfer). Please provide your preferred contact information at the time of order. I will contact you within 1 to 2 business days to make the arrangements. Delivery Dates are typically weekends only.

During the pandemic, in the event that the provincial border between Ontario and Quebec is closed for traffic, and delivery to the Gatineau, Aylmer, Chelsea, and Cantley and surrounding area is not possible, the delivery method will be changed to Priority Post at no charge to you.

RUSH ORDERS

Rush Orders are typically delivered within 1-3 business days by courier and considerably more expensive.

Rush orders are priced at the time of checkout based on selected courier and destinations. 

Please note that rural customers and customers requesting delivery to a PO Box may not be covered within the courier service area. You may be required to select the nearest depot or provide a valid street address.

Customs and Duties

*Orders delivered outside of Canada may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Andrew Moor Photography is not responsible for these charges if they are applied. You are your responsible for their payment as the customer. We will include Customs information and packing slips for the items we are shipping, including product category coding using internationally accepted product codes to facilitate Customs Clearance and Brokerage.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number (if available) that you can use to check its status. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 21 calendar days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@andrewmoorphotography.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:  Gift cards

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted 

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Damaged Items

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at returns@andrewmoorphotography.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
