It was an August afternoon. Strong sun, and definitely a beach day.
This stretch of seacoast in Maine isn't a famous as its showier cousin Old Orchard Beach a couple miles north along the coast. I'm glad. There was still room to put your towel and not disturb the sand so it blows in other folks faces.
After we got established it was time to go for a walk, and with the shallow angle of the beach, the late summer sun and the prefect cloudy sky, the waters edge became a giant reflecting pool!
Amazing to see, and so out came the camera!
