This Cherry tree is part of a 1950s era "driving park" that is, a park that was a destination for those out for a weekend drive. Ottawa has a lot of these places - mostly hidden and forgotten now; just to the right or the left of the bustling traffic arteries that carry everyone off to their busy world.
Catching a glimpse in a half-blink in full mid-day sun, I was transported into an anime world. So that is where I put this tree. Where everything is hazy and pure at the same time.
